Founded in 2024 by Shameka Jones, Women’s Healing & Empowerment Network Inc. (WHEN Inc.) is a 501(c)(3) rooted in the places we call home—Columbus, Ohio and Hartford, Connecticut. We exist to help women and girls heal, grow, and walk confidently in their God-given purpose. Guided by a clear, trauma-informed framework (shown below), we combine faith-centered care with inclusive, evidence-informed practices to create safe spaces, practical tools, and community support that lead to real, lasting change. As we serve, we also learn: we are building a Trauma & Healing Information System to responsibly gather insights and outcomes—so partners, practitioners, and policymakers can rely on trusted data to better serve the populations we champion. Woman Heal Thy Soul Conference & Retreats that create immersive, collective healing experiences.
Training & CEU Credits (coming 2026)for mental health professionals, coaches and facilitators — building capacity and multiplying impact.
Advocacy & Systems Engagement to ensure healing becomes embedded in education, mental-health and community systems.
